Now I have established stable relation with some forwarder agent, shipping company, even some big trading company, and my business is much better than ever. 4. I attended the 4th Global Shipping Summit held in Dalian two years ago, and the submit left me very deep impression. The Globle shipping Summit is one of the largest conferences among all the fairs I have attended in shipping and logistics industries. The participants came from all over the world. There are not only forwarders, but also many carriers. We have build quite some relationships during the Globle Shipping Summit, which all develop quite well over the past two years. The information in conference book is also quite valuable.

5. Our company have attended three Global Shipping Summit and benefited a lot from this conference. As an international freight forwarder, it is quite important for us to put our development in global context. The Global Shipping Summit brings us new view and refresh our mind each year. In 2009, the tough time after the world economic crisis, the lectures and forum held in the Global Shipping Summit were quite enlightening and inspiring. The Global Shipping Summit also offered us opportunity of one-one business meeting. During this meeting, we became agents for several major forwarders in China main port. This brought us a lot of business after the Global Shipping Summit.

We also became WIFFA member in 2009 Global Shipping Summit, and received a lot of useful information as member.

7. I have sweet experience with Global Shipping Summit and participate this Summit since 2nd. I think if you want to know the newest information and the trend of China Shipping, the Global Shipping Summit never can be missed. It's the top important Shipping Summit in China; NO ONE HAS SUCH EFFECTS ON CHINESE SHIPPING INDUSTRY as far as I know.

8. We are a small-size forwarder from Austria. I want to if we want to expand our market share in China, how can we get more information about Chinese forwarder. I heard Global Shipping Summit is the most prestige meeting in China.

9. I am so tired after a long trip in China, anyway, I still feel happy because John, Mike, Alexandria who I met at the Global Shipping Summit. They really gave me some good ideas about my business, thanks guys. We will be friends forever, wherever you are. Also thanks to the Global Shipping Summit, the person of the summit committee treated me well, sorry I forget you name. 10. Well, I think it is time to write something about the summit I joined a weeks ago. It's my first time to attend such scale meetings, nearly 500 peoples there. When I got the invitation, I was surprised because I have never heard about this meetings, why they send invitation to me? Thinking about the conference fee is only 600 dollars for each person, my boss agreed this idea. But the next coming days, I was very busy in preparing all the things for attending this meeting. It was a paroniria! But all right, I was relaxed after we arrived Shanghai of China. The meeting's name called Global Shipping Summit, its organizer is shippingchina.com website and Shanghai City Government. Some parts of this meeting is pretty good, for example the one-to-one meetings. We have talked with a freight forwarder from Russia for maybe 30 mintues, that's the stipulated time of the summit, but we had another talking after the meeting in a restaurant. Another surprise to me is that I do meet a firend who are in my MSN list, we just know each other from a freight forwarder forum before, God knows we will do meet in China !

Well, Shanghai is also a beautiful city, hope the ideas we got from this Global Shipping Summit will do help us in the further! No more talking, I was commanded to write a report about this summit….

11. I thought thousands about my business. I thought that reduce cost is a main key, and I really hate pay for the unrelated things, for example conference. But after a trip in China, I think I should say something about myself. Yes, I was so self-important, I was so…maybe out of time. Thanks to the Global Shipping Summit, thanks to the trip in China. Thanks to the people who I met there. It is worthy to spend that cost, being a tightfisted person will kill me. Now I have to tell myself, ya, Jelf, you have a lot of things to do. When you doing a business, you should come out, not stay in the office.

12. we are a forwarder from India, I remember in last Global Shipping Summit, There are many senior managers from all over the world, these delegates cover ship owners, shippers, international freight forwarders, port and industry experts, so we get rich business and knowledge.

13. It is a wonderful experience when I attended the 4th Global Shipping Summit in 2009. I met many potential partner there, which come from Africa, Asia and Europe. It help me to expand my transportation area, especially for inland of China, I will supply better service to my clients. If the global shipping Summit open this year, I will be glad to attend again.

14. Davos is famous due to The World Economic Forum, do you know there is a similar Forum which called shipping Davos? It is Global Shipping Summit which have opened 4 times. More than 500 guests communicate idea, forecast for logistics and transportation, which come from more than 40 countries. The 5th GSS and the 1st International Freight Forwarder Alliance Convention (IFFAC) will be held on November 24th to 25th, 2011 in Shanghai, China.
